I had an accident involving a 160-pound dog that ran head on into my left leg. The initial x-rays on my leg only showed “a sprained knee.” Despite excruciating pain, for five weeks I continued to have negative results on multiple sets of x-rays.
I consulted with DL and she was able to discover that there was much more than a “sprained knee.” She wrote a letter to my physician with her findings and recommendations based upon the examination.
My doctor listened and MRI revealed a torn meniscus and a crush fracture. This injury could have permanently disabled and disfigured me if the injury would have continued to go without treatment.
DL was essential in making this happen. She is a very knowledgeable, thorough practitioner who is very in tune with her patients. Not only compassionate but she is willing to do the work to help patients get the care that they need.
